Importing a non-registered army vehicle to UK?

Hello there,

this is my first post as i'm wondering if theres anyway i can import a Mercedes 508 army truck into the UK. The vehicle is in my possession in Spain and was sold to me as a German registered truck, unfortunately i have no documents to clarify this except for old MOT certificates,

I would dearly love to get the vehicle back to the UK and register it somehow so I can begin restoring it to its full glory,

Does anyone have any similar experiences that could help me?

Hi Nick
              I've not come across this problem before so I don't know the answer but I'm sure the MVT could help you, there is a list of contacts here http://www.mvt.org.uk/committee.htm  try Preston first as I know he has brought vehicles into the UK before.
